Note 1 to entry: This process encompasses the activities of the definition justification (theoretical and experimental) carried out by the supplier and activities carried out by the client

Note 2 to entry: Customer activities consist on the one hand in the analysis of elements of definition and producibility justification transmitted by the supplier, and on the other hand in so-called qualification tests in a customer environment.

Note 3 to entry: The qualification tests are conducted by the customer, on specimens of the product called qualification specimens, in an environment representative of the operating environment.
